Module: TAILF-ALARM-MIB
OID (symbolic): TAILF-ALARM-MIB::tfAlarmTime
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.24961.2.103.1.1.5.1.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DateAndTime
Access: read-only
Description: A time stamp of the alarm state change event. Note that this variable represents the last change of the alarm state, like changed severity or additional text. If the alarm has not changed state this variable represents the alarm raise time and will be the same as tfAlarmOrigTime.
NOTE: All fields of the DateAndTime MUST be filled out, including the hours and minutes from UTC. As such, the value should be 11 octets long.
What is tfAlarmTime?
Records the timestamp of the alarm's most recent state change -- such as a severity update or new additional text -- falling back to the original raise time (matching tfAlarmOrigTime) if the alarm has never changed state. An admin uses this to see how recently an alarm was last updated, distinguishing a freshly escalated alarm from one that's been sitting unchanged for a long time. For example, if tfAlarmTime is much later than tfAlarmOrigTime, it tells the admin the alarm's severity or details were recently revised rather than newly raised.
