Description: DVMRP defines an extension to IGMP that allows routers to query other routers to determine if a multicast group is present on an given router subnetwork or not. This is referred to as a 'probe'. The unit is second.
What is swL3DvmrpInterfaceProbe?
This read-write OID sets, in seconds, the interval DVMRP uses to probe for other routers on a subnetwork to see if a multicast group is present there, defaulting to 10. An admin tunes this interval when adjusting how quickly the switch discovers new DVMRP neighbors.
