What is swFdbStaticState?

This object reports and controls the lifecycle state of a static forwarding entry: other(1) for an entry in use under different conditions, invalid(2) which removes the entry when written, and valid(3) for an entry currently residing in the table. Administrators write invalid(2) to this object to delete a static forwarding entry from the table. For example, an admin decommissioning a statically mapped device would write invalid(2) to this object to remove that no-longer-needed static MAC entry.
