swSurveillanceVlanId

Module: SURVEILLANCE-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): SURVEILLANCE-VLAN-MIB::swSurveillanceVlanId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.102.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: VlanIdOrNone

Access: read-write

Description: The VLAN ID of the surveillance VLAN. The surveillance VLAN is used to assign VLANs for untagged video packets. The value zero is for display only and not configurable, which means there is no surveillance VLAN on the switch.

What is swSurveillanceVlanId?

This value sets the VLAN ID designated as the surveillance VLAN, which the switch uses to assign untagged video traffic into its own VLAN. An admin sets this before enabling surveillance VLAN globally, since a value of zero is a read-only display state meaning no surveillance VLAN is configured, and untagged video packets won't be isolated until a real VLAN ID is set here. For example, setting swSurveillanceVlanId to 100 designates VLAN 100 as the surveillance VLAN, so untagged packets from connected cameras get tagged into VLAN 100 automatically.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.102.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SURVEILLANCE-VLAN-MIB::swSurveillanceVlanId

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.102.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SURVEILLANCE-VLAN-MIB::swSurveillanceVlanId.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.12.102.1.1.1.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> swSurveillanceVlanId.1
