OID (symbolic): SUN-ILOM-CONTROL-MIB::ilomCtrlAlertEmailCustomSender

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.2.175.102.8.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: An optional format to identify the sender or the 'from' address. Customizing this string allows the user to specify the exact contents (up to 80 chars) of the 'from' field in the email message. Either one of the substitution strings '' or '' can be used as needed. By default, this parameter is an empty string, which results in the standard ILOM formatted originator for the alerts. e.g., ilom-sp@sp1302.dev.sun.com, sun-ilom@[], or ilom-alert@.abc.com

What is ilomCtrlAlertEmailCustomSender?

Custom 'From' address (up to 80 chars) for alert emails, supporting <IPADDRESS> or <HOSTNAME> substitution tokens; left empty, ILOM falls back to its standard originator address like ilom-alert@<HOSTNAME>.
