eventInitiator
Module: SUN-CLUSTER-EVENTS-MIB
OID (symbolic): SUN-CLUSTER-EVENTS-MIB::eventInitiator
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.2.80.2.1.2.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: ScEventInitiator
Access: read-only
Description: The initiator of this event
What is eventInitiator?
This read-only value reports what triggered a given cluster event: clEventInitUnknown(0), clEventInitSystem(1), clEventInitOperator(2), or clEventInitAgent(3). Admins use it to distinguish events caused by automatic cluster framework actions from ones triggered by a human operator's command or a resource agent's own action. For example, seeing clEventInitOperator(2) on a resource group state change confirms an administrator manually triggered that change rather than it happening automatically due to a failover.
