What is cacheSysNumReads?

Counts the number of low-level HTTP I/O read operations Squid has performed. An admin uses it as a rough measure of how much read-syscall activity the proxy is generating, useful when correlating with system-level I/O metrics.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.3.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SQUID-MIB::cacheSysNumReads

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.3.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SQUID-MIB::cacheSysNumReads.1
