Module: SQUID-MIB
OID (symbolic): SQUID-MIB::cachePeerType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.5.1.3.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-only
Description: Peer Type
What is cachePeerType?
Reports whether this peer is configured as a sibling or a parent cache. An admin uses this to understand Squid's forwarding logic for that peer -- parents are used as a fallback for any miss, while siblings are only used when they're known to already hold the object.
