What is cacheDnsReplies?

Counts the total number of DNS replies Squid has received from its external DNS server(s). If this consistently trails cacheDnsRequests, it points to DNS packet loss or a slow/unreachable resolver that an admin needs to fix.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.4.3.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SQUID-MIB::cacheDnsReplies

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.4.3.2.1
