agentSize
Module: SNMPv2-USEC-MIB
OID (symbolic): SNMPv2-USEC-MIB::agentSize
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.6.3.6.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The maximum length in octets of an SNMPv2 message which this agent will accept using any transport mapping.
What is agentSize?
This is the largest SNMPv2 message size, in octets, that the agent will accept over any transport mapping. Management software uses this to size outbound SNMP requests so they aren't rejected by the agent as oversized. For example, a value of 1500 means messages larger than 1500 bytes will be refused by this agent.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.6.3.6.1.1.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SNMPv2-USEC-MIB::agentSize
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.6.3.6.1.1.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SNMPv2-USEC-MIB::agentSize.1
