Module: SNMPv2-USEC-MIB

OID (symbolic): SNMPv2-USEC-MIB::agentBoots

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.6.3.6.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-only

Description: The number of times that the agent has re-initialized itself since its initial configuration.

What is agentBoots?

This counts how many times the agent has re-initialized itself since it was first configured. It is a core USM security parameter — combined with agentTime, it prevents replay of old authenticated SNMP messages. For example, a value of 7 means the agent has rebooted or reinitialized seven times since its initial setup.
