Description:

The authoritative identification of the enterprise associated with the trap currently being sent. When an SNMP proxy agent is mapping an RFC1157 Trap-PDU into a SNMPv2-Trap-PDU, this variable occurs as the last varbind.

What is snmpTrapEnterprise?

This is a dotted-number identifier that names which company or organization created the alarm being sent. When a proxy translates an old-style trap to a new format, this identifier appears last in the message. Network engineers use it to route alerts to the correct vendor's support team.
