Description: In the 2.7 CIM Schema a Type property is no longer associated with physicalMedia. The MediaType property provides more detailed information.
What is physicalMediaObjectType?
This read-only INTEGER classifies a physical media item as tape(0) or other(1); per the MIB's own note, the more detailed physicalMedia-MediaType property supersedes this coarse classification. An admin should look to physicalMedia-MediaType for the actual media format and use this field only as a broad tape-vs-other check.
