Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This Integer is a bit string with each bit when set has the following meaning: BIT 0 - Download request BIT 1 - Abort Download request BIT 2 - Bench switch request BIT 4 - Partial download BIT 5 - Forced Download BIT 6 - Implicit Activation BIT 7 - Delete bench not running BIT 8 - ODU FW download (whitout activation) BIT 9 - ODU FW activation BIT 10 - IDU FPGA download (whitout activation) BIT 11 - IDU FPGA activation The bit 4...6 enable/disable the different options on download request.

What is softwareActionRequest?

This read-write integer is a bitmask where each set bit triggers a specific software-management action, such as bit 0 for a download request or bit 2 for a bench switch. Admins write a value with the appropriate bits set to kick off operations like aborting a download (bit 1), forcing a download (bit 5), or activating newly downloaded ODU firmware (bit 9), letting one write combine several options like partial or forced download. For example, writing a value with bits 0 and 5 set (1 + 32 = 33) both starts a download and forces it even if the target release matches the current one.
