rohcInstanceContextStorageTime

Module: ROHC-MIB

OID (symbolic): ROHC-MIB::rohcInstanceContextStorageTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.112.1.1.2.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TimeInterval

Access: read-write

Description: This object indicates the default maximum amount of time information on a context belonging to this instance is kept as entry in the rohcContextTable after the context is expired or terminated. The value of this object is used to initialize rohcContexStorageTime object when a new context is created. Changing the value of an rohcInstanceContextStorageTime instance does not affect any entry of the rohcContextTable created previously. ROHC-MIB implementations SHOULD store the set value of this object persistently.

What is rohcInstanceContextStorageTime?

The default amount of time a context's row stays in the context table after it expires or terminates, used to initialize each new context's own storage timer; changing this value doesn't retroactively affect contexts already created.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.112.1.1.2.1.12
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ROHC-MIB::rohcInstanceContextStorageTime

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.112.1.1.2.1.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ROHC-MIB::rohcInstanceContextStorageTime.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.112.1.1.2.1.12.1 s <value>
