Description: This indicates which version of RIP updates are to be accepted. Note that rip2 and rip1OrRip2 implies reception of multicast packets.

What is rip2IfConfReceive?

Sets which RIP version updates this interface accepts: rip1(1), rip2(2), rip1OrRip2(3), or doNotReceive(4); note that rip2 and rip1OrRip2 also imply accepting multicast RIP packets. An admin restricts this to rip2 to reject legacy RIPv1 broadcasts once all neighbors have migrated.
