paraInSigName

Module: RFC1318-MIB

OID (symbolic): RFC1318-MIB::paraInSigName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.34.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Identification of a hardware signal.

What is paraInSigName?

This read-only value identifies which specific hardware input signal a given row of the input signal table represents: power(1), online(2), busy(3), paperout(4), or fault(5). Admins use it to know exactly which status line, such as the printer's paper-out or fault indicator, a corresponding paraInSigState entry is reporting on. For example, a row with this value set to paperout(4) reports the state of the connected printer's out-of-paper signal.
