Module: RFC1230-MIB
OID (symbolic): RFC1230-MIB::dot4State
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.8.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER

Description: The current state of the 802.4 interface. The value of other(1) is used if the state is unknown (e.g., due to an error condition).
What is dot4State?
Reports the interface's current position in the Token Bus logical ring, such as offline, out-of-ring, entering-ring, or in-ring, with other(1) returned if the state can't be determined due to an error; an admin watches this to confirm a station has successfully joined the ring.
