dot4InitInRingDesired

Module: RFC1230-MIB

OID (symbolic): RFC1230-MIB::dot4InitInRingDesired

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.8.2.1.12

What is dot4InitInRingDesired?

Determines whether the station automatically tries to enter the logical ring right after initialization (inRing) or stays out of the ring until told otherwise (outOfRing); an admin sets this before triggering the initialize(5) command via dot4Commands.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC1230-MIB::dot4InitInRingDesired

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.8.2.1.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC1230-MIB::dot4InitInRingDesired.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.8.2.1.12.1 i <value>
