fddimibPORTIndex
Module: RFC-1512
OID (symbolic): RFC-1512::fddimibPORTIndex
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.15.74.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32

Description: The FDDI port index.
What is fddimibPORTIndex?
This is the index number identifying this specific port within its FDDI station, distinguishing between the (typically two) physical ports - such as the A and B ports on a dual-attached station. Administrators use it to know which specific physical FDDI port a given row of port status data refers to. A value of 1 versus 2 would let an admin distinguish between a dual-attached station's primary and secondary ring connections.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.15.74.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RFC-1512::fddimibPORTIndex
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.15.74.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RFC-1512::fddimibPORTIndex.1
