Module: REGEX-MIB
OID (symbolic): REGEX-MIB::regexString
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.12325.1.203.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: String value of this regexEntry object.
What is regexString?
This read-only object holds the string value extracted or matched by this regex entry. Admins read this when the rule is designed to capture text, such as a version string or status word, rather than a numeric count. A regexString value of "v2.4.1" on an entry tracking firmware version confirms the currently detected version text.
