rc3ImageSize
Module: RCV3
OID (symbolic): RCV3::rc3ImageSize
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1958.1.1.8.7.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Size of Image in bytes. SNMP manager must send this value before it can do a software download. On receipt of this object the AGENT will allocate the memory of rc3ImageSize, and start a 60 second timer. If the Agent does not receive the actual software block within the timeout period, it will assume the software download is aborted.
What is rc3ImageSize?
An admin sets this to the total size, in bytes, of a new firmware image before starting an SNMP software download; the agent allocates that much memory and starts a 60-second timer, aborting the download if the actual image blocks don't arrive in time.
