Description: Determines the order in which the TACACS+ servers will be used, when 1 is the highest priority. If more than one server share the same priority - they will be used in lexicographic order (the order of entries in this table).

What is rcTacacsServerPriority?

This sets the priority order, from 1 (highest) up to 65535, in which this TACACS+ server is tried relative to other configured servers, defaulting to 1. An admin uses this to establish a clear primary/backup order among multiple TACACS+ servers, knowing that servers sharing the same priority value fall back to lexicographic table order rather than a defined preference. For example, an admin might set the primary TACACS+ server's rcTacacsServerPriority to 1 and a backup server's to 2, ensuring the backup is only contacted if the primary fails to respond.
