Description: Determines which application will be authenticated by tacacs+.
What is rcTacacsAuthentication?
This bitmask determines which application types, cli, ppp, and/or web, use TACACS+ for authentication, defaulting to cli enabled. An admin sets the relevant bits so that logins via those specific access methods are validated against the TACACS+ server rather than local credentials, allowing selective rollout of centralized authentication by access type. For example, an admin wanting both CLI and web-based management logins authenticated via TACACS+ would set both the cli and web bits in rcTacacsAuthentication.
