rbnRadiusAuthSrvTimeout

Module: RBN-RADIUS-MIB

OID (symbolic): RBN-RADIUS-MIB::rbnRadiusAuthSrvTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.32.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum amount of time to wait for any response from a RADIUS authorization server before assuming the server is unreachable.

A value of '0' indicates that there is no timeout value. In this case a server is considered to be unreachable when no response is received within the rbnRadiusAuthPktTimeout window.

What is rbnRadiusAuthSrvTimeout?

How long, in seconds, the system waits for any response at all from a RADIUS authorization server before declaring the whole server unreachable; a value of 0 means there's no separate server-level timeout, and unreachability is instead judged purely from the per-packet rbnRadiusAuthPktTimeout window.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.32.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RBN-RADIUS-MIB::rbnRadiusAuthSrvTimeout

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.32.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RBN-RADIUS-MIB::rbnRadiusAuthSrvTimeout.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.32.1.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rbnRadiusAuthSrvTimeout.1
