Description:
The precedence order of this ACE. The precedence order determines the position of this ACE in the ACL. An ACE with a given precedence order is positioned in the access control list before one with a higher-valued precedence order.
Precedence values within a group must be unique otherwise instance installation will be prohibited and an error value will be returned.
What is qosIpAclDefinitionAceOrder?
This OID stores a priority number that determines the sequence in which traffic filter rules are evaluated—lower numbers are checked first. The order matters because once traffic matches a rule, remaining rules are skipped. An operator would set this when creating or reorganizing traffic filtering policies to ensure that important rules are evaluated before less specific catch-all rules.
