Module: Printer-MIB

OID (symbolic): Printer-MIB::prtInterpreterFeedAddressability

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.43.15.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: The maximum interpreter addressability in the feed direction in 10000 prtMarkerAddressabilityUnits (as specified by prtMarkerDefaultIndex) for this interpreter. The value (-1) means other and specifically indicates that the sub-unit places no restrictions on this parameter. The value (-2) means unknown.

NOTE: The above description has been modified from RFC 1759 for clarification.

What is prtInterpreterFeedAddressability?

This holds the maximum distance the printer interpreter can address when feeding paper in the forward direction, measured in units. It defines physical printing limits for the device's interpreter component. An operator uses this when calibrating paper feed mechanics or diagnosing alignment issues in page layout.
