Description: The value of the prtLocalizationIndex corresponding to the current language, country, and character set to be used for localized string values that are identified as being dependent on the value of this object. Note that this object does not apply to localized strings in the prtConsole group or to any object that is not explicitly identified as being localized according to prtGeneralCurrentLocalization. When an object's 'charset' is controlled by the value of prtGeneralCurrentLocalization, it MUST specify PrtLocalizedDescriptionStringTC as its syntax.

What is prtGeneralCurrentLocalization?
This read-write value points to the prtLocalizationIndex entry that selects the language, country, and character set currently used for the printer's localized text strings. An admin sets it to switch the device's reported strings to a different locale, for example pointing it at the row for French/Canada instead of English/US.
