Description: Enables/disables Spanning Tree. When Spanning Tree is disabled, the switch's ports are placed in forwarding mode, regardless of the current Spanning Tree state. When re-enabled, the normal state transitions take place.
What is configL2SpanOnOff?
This enables or disables Spanning Tree on the switch and selects the variant: enableSTP(1), disable(2), enableRSTP(3), enablePVST(4), or enableMST(5). When disabled, every port is forced into forwarding mode regardless of the underlying STP state; re-enabling it resumes normal STP state transitions.
