prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID
Module: PRVT-SWITCH-EV-PROP-MIB
OID (symbolic): PRVT-SWITCH-EV-PROP-MIB::prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.738.1.5.166.1.2.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: The targetID of this session. It is held in a string that is represented as follows: port - UUSSPP SAP - ServiceID/UUSSPP:c-vlan:s-vlan
e.g.: port - 1101, 1207, 1310 SAP - 1/1101:1:22, 23/1112:24-26, 2756/1112:utag
What is prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID?
This read-write DisplayString, 4 to 32 characters, names the actual port or service (SAP) that a session's action applies to, in a format that depends on prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetType. The description gives explicit formats: a port target is written like "1101" or "1207", while a SAP target is written like "1/1101:1:22" combining service ID, port, and VLAN tags. For example, an admin configuring a session against port 1310 would set prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID to the string "1310".
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.738.1.5.166.1.2.1.1.3 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PRVT-SWITCH-EV-PROP-MIB::prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.738.1.5.166.1.2.1.1.3.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PRVT-SWITCH-EV-PROP-MIB::prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.738.1.5.166.1.2.1.1.3.1 s <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> prvtEventPropagationSessionTargetID.1
