Description: The control VLAN for this R-APS instance. When main ring's control protocol is vpls (prvtRapsInstControlProtocol equals 'vpls'), this should be set equal to the ring's instance ID (prvtRapsInstIndex). This object must be set to the ID of an existing VLAN. Each R-APS instance must use a unique VLAN for the control VLAN. Must perform shutdown to change this object.
What is prvtRapsInstControlVlan?
This OID sets the control VLAN used to carry R-APS protocol messages for this instance, and must be a unique, already-existing VLAN ID; changing it requires first shutting down the instance. When the ring's control protocol is vpls, this value should match the instance index itself, per the MIB's own note.
