Description: The Traffic Engineering metric is updated in real-time by the I3 Stub. In order to increase performance and reduce network traffic, this parameter determines the minimal percentage change of the TE metric that causes a new LSP to be originated.
What is prvtIsisSysTEMetricPcntge?
The Traffic Engineering metric on each interface is updated in real time by the internal I3 stub, and this value sets the minimum percentage change in that metric needed before the router bothers originating a new LSP. Raising this threshold reduces how often routine metric jitter triggers LSP regeneration, trading responsiveness for lower control-plane overhead.
