Description: Maximum interval, in seconds, between generated LSPs by this instance of the protocol. This object follows the ResettingTimer behavior. The value must be greater than any value configured for prvtIsisSysLevelxMinLSPGenInt, and should be at least 300 seconds less than prvtIsisSysMaxAge.
What is prvtIsisSysMaxLSPGenInt?
This sets the maximum number of seconds between the router regenerating its own Link State PDUs, even with no topology changes. The value must stay above the configured minimum LSP generation interval and at least 300 seconds below prvtIsisSysMaxAge so LSPs get refreshed before they would otherwise expire. A typical deployment leaves this near its default rather than pushing it toward the 65235-second ceiling.
