Description: The ID for this instance of the Integrated IS-IS protocol. This value is appended to each of the area addresses to form the Network Entity Titles. This value is a 6 byte MAC address.
This object follows the ReplaceOnlyWhileDisabled behavior.
What is prvtIsisSysID?
This is the router's unique 6-byte system ID, normally derived from a MAC address, that gets combined with the configured area addresses to build the router's Network Entity Title. Every IS-IS router in a network must have a distinct system ID or adjacencies and the link-state database will misbehave. Like prvtIsisSysType, it can only be changed while the instance is disabled.
