Module: PRVT-CR-LDP-MIB

OID (symbolic): PRVT-CR-LDP-MIB::prvtcrldpPmRecoveryTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.738.1.6.5.3.1.2.1.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-create

Description:

The period of time in milliseconds that the local node is willing to retain its MPLS forwarding state, if any, that it preserved across the restart.

The time is from the end of the restart time configured above.

Only used if prvtcrldpPmRestartCapable is set to true.

What is prvtcrldpPmRecoveryTime?

This configurable timer (in milliseconds) specifies how long a local MPLS router will retain forwarded state after it restarts, allowing time for neighbors to re-establish connections before the forwarding table is cleared. It works in conjunction with MPLS graceful restart capability to minimize traffic disruption during planned or unplanned reboots. Operators tune this parameter to balance between providing enough recovery time and clearing stale state quickly.
