Description: The immediate desired status of the IP network protocol. Setting this object to open will inject an administrative open event into the IP network protocol's finite state machine. Setting this object to close will inject an administrative close event into the IP network protocol's finite state machine.
What is pppIpConfigAdminStatus?
This read-write INTEGER, open(1) or close(2), is the administrative control that injects an open or close event into the IP network protocol's finite state machine for this PPP link. An admin sets it to force IPCP to bring up or tear down IP-over-PPP negotiation on demand, independent of automatic link-layer events. Setting pppIpConfigAdminStatus to close(2) would administratively shut down IP traffic over this PPP link without necessarily bringing the whole physical link down.
