If this object is dont- accept then received packets of the indicated MAC type will not be properly processed.

What is pppBridgeMediaLocalStatus?

This read-only object indicates whether the local PPP Bridging entity will accept and process incoming packets of the MAC type identified by pppBridgeMediaMacType on this link, returning accept(1) or dont-accept(2). An admin checks it when a specific bridged protocol's traffic seems to be silently dropped on a given PPP interface. For example, dont-accept(2) for a Token Ring MAC type entry explains why frames of that type arriving over the link are not being properly processed even though the link itself is up.
