Description: The ablility to learn dynamic addresses automatically. With this parameter disabled, a new address detected on a port will cause that port to be disabled, force a configuration save, and issue a trap alerting management stations of the intrusion.
What is configDynamicAddressLearning?
Controls whether the switch automatically learns new source MAC addresses on a port; when disabled, a newly seen address on a port instead triggers that port to be disabled, forces a configuration save, and issues an intrusion trap — effectively a basic port-security trip-wire.
