Description: The IP protocol to which this rule relates. Use 256 to specify IP (i.e. don't care)

What is ipPolicyRuleProtocol?

This sets the IP protocol number this rule matches, where 256 is the reserved don't-care value meaning any IP protocol (the default). An admin sets this to 6 (TCP) or 17 (UDP) to scope the rule to a specific transport protocol.
