An alternate routing parameter for the backward direction of this route.
For information learned from PNNI nodes, this is the Available cell rate (in cells per second) for the backward direction of the route. Further information on available bandwidth may be obtainable by reference to the nodal advertisements of the nodes in the path.
If this parameter is not used, its value should be set to 0xFFFFFFFF.
What is pnniRouteNodeBwdMetric2?
This OID stores bandwidth availability information (measured in cells per second) for the reverse direction of a network route used in ATM networks. Monitoring this metric helps routers choose paths that have enough available bandwidth for quality of service. A carrier operating an ATM backbone would use this to ensure routes with sufficient capacity are selected, preventing slow or failed connections.
