Description:
Specifies whether the node is restricted to not allowing support of SVCs transiting this node. This attribute determines the setting of the restricted transit bit in the nodal information group originated by this node.
What is pnniNodeRestrictedTransit?
This read-write parameter controls whether a node in a Private Network-to-Network Interface (PNNI) routing domain will accept and forward Switched Virtual Circuits (SVCs) that transit through it. When set to true, the node sets the restricted transit bit in its routing announcements to signal that it will not forward transit SVC connections. Network architects use this to designate nodes as routing endpoints only, preventing them from becoming intermediate hops in inter-node paths.
