Description:
The level of PNNI hierarchy at which this node exists. This attribute is used to determine the default node ID and the default peer group ID for this node. This object may only be written when pnniNodeAdminStatus has the value down.
What is pnniNodeLevel?
This configurable integer (0-104) defines at which PNNI hierarchy level a node participates, determining its peer group membership and routing scope. Lower levels are leaf nodes; higher levels are backbone aggregation points. An operator sets this during network design to establish the ATM switching fabric topology and enable hierarchical routing.
