Description: A count of the number of PTSPs (re)transmitted to the neighboring peer.
What is pnniNbrPeerXmtPtsps?
This object counts the number of PTSP (Physical Topology State Parameter) messages transmitted or retransmitted to a neighboring PNNI (Private Network Node Interface) peer in an ATM network. PTSPs carry information about port and link state. An operator would monitor this counter to verify that topology updates are being exchanged with neighbors and to detect abnormal transmission patterns that might indicate routing instability.
