Description:
An alternate routing parameter from the advertising node to the remote end of the PNNI entity or to the reachable address or transit network, for the specified service categories.
For information learned from PNNI nodes, this is the maximum cell transfer delay in microseconds for the specified service categories.
If this parameter is not used, its value should be set to 0xFFFFFFFF.
What is pnniMetrics3?
This object stores an alternate PNNI routing metric representing the maximum cell transfer delay in microseconds for ATM traffic, or a reserved value of 0xFFFFFFFF if the parameter is not in use. It is used by PNNI routing to select paths with acceptable cell delay characteristics. An operator would configure this metric to optimize ATM network paths based on delay requirements for different service categories like voice, video, or data.
