pnniMapRemoteNodeId

Module: PNNI-MIB

OID (symbolic): PNNI-MIB::pnniMapRemoteNodeId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.353.5.4.1.1.14.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: PnniNodeId

Access: read-only

Description:

For horizontal links and uplinks, this attribute contains the node identifier of the node at the other end of the link from the originating node. If unknown, the PNNI protocol entity sets this attribute's value to (all) zero(s). For nodes, this attribute's value is set to (all) zero(s).

What is pnniMapRemoteNodeId?

For ATM PNNI links, this object contains the PNNI node identifier of the remote endpoint of the link, allowing the network management system to understand the topology of PNNI-routed connections. For logical nodes or if the remote node is unknown, it is set to all zeros. An operator would use this to view the PNNI routing topology and understand which nodes are directly connected via which links.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.353.5.4.1.1.14.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PNNI-MIB::pnniMapRemoteNodeId

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.353.5.4.1.1.14.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PNNI-MIB::pnniMapRemoteNodeId.1
