Description:
Indicates whether the originating node is able to support additional branches. If the value is 'false', then it can support additional branches. This attribute reflects the setting of the restricted branching bit received in the nodal information PTSE of the originating node.
What is pnniMapNodeRestrictedBranching?
This OID indicates whether an ATM switch can accept new connections branching from it or is at capacity for branches. False means more branches are possible; true means branching is restricted. A network operator would check this when planning new connections to determine if a switch needs capacity upgrades.
