Description: A set value of reboot(2) will reboot the appliance. noAction(1) = always returned in a GET. Does nothing if SET. reboot(2) = when SET the appliance immediately reboots.

What is pmReboot?

A read-write control that reboots the appliance itself: a GET always reports noAction(1), and setting the value to reboot(2) immediately reboots the unit. Admins use this to remotely power-cycle a hung management appliance without a trip to the data center.
