lsDbPortAddrStatus
Module: PERSEUS-MIB
OID (symbolic): PERSEUS-MIB::lsDbPortAddrStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.18.4.3.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This attribute indicates if the address will age out of the database on a linkSwitch1000 unit when it is not the subject of lookup requests (nonPermanent) OR if it remains in the database until the user deletes it (permanent). The user can remove this address from the database by setting this attribute to delete(3).
What is lsDbPortAddrStatus?
Controls the aging behavior of this learned address: nonPermanent(1) lets it age out normally if unused, permanent(2) keeps it in the database indefinitely, and writing delete(3) removes the entry outright — the mechanism an admin uses to permanently pin or purge a MAC-to-port binding.
