Description: Current state of this span.
What is spanState?
This read-only value reports the current line-quality state of the span: other(1), unknown(2), init(3), green(4) (online and ready), fatal(5) (failed signal state), yellow(6), or red(7). An admin treats yellow(6)/red(7) as early warning of a degrading T1/E1 circuit and fatal(5) as a hard outage needing carrier or hardware attention.
