What is hostProtocol?

This read-only value identifies the communications protocol used for this host connection: other(1), unknown(2), atte(3), async(4), lu62(5), sna3270(6), sdlcexp(7), or vpstn3270(8). An admin checks this to confirm a host link is using the expected protocol, e.g. lu62(5) for an APPC/LU6.2 mainframe session.
